For Control Panel (2022 release)
1. After you log in, click the Team Dashboard or League Dashboard Tab according to where you want to add your new article.
2. Click the viewing dropdown and type or select the team/league you want to add an article to.
3. Click the "Post Update" sub-tab
4. Click the "Post Article" button to add a new article to your team's/league's website
5. Enter the information for:
- Title
- Body
- Publish & expiration dates
- Click "Browse" button if you would like to add any images
If you would like your article and article image to display on the home page then click the checkbox at the top of the form that say "Scroll on Homepage"
6. Press "Submit" to add your new article to the list of articles seen on your website.
For Classic Site (pre 2021 product release)
1. After you log in, click the Teams or Leagues tab.
2. Click the Content sub-tab.
3. To the right of your desired team or league, beneath Articles, click the icon.
4. Click Create New Article and fill out the required information:
(a) Select Type assigns a category to your article.
(1) Homepage Highlight News is the feature article on your homepage.
(2) Homepage News 1 and Homepage News 2 will display the article headline and the Preview Snippet on the in the top, right-hand column of your homepage. These articles will also display on the News page.
(3) News is a general news article that will appear on the News page.
(b) Head is the title of your article.
(c) Preview Snippet posts a short preview of your article on the homepage and News page.
(d) Body is the main content of your article. You can use the button bar to format your content, add images and incorporate HTML.
5. Publishing Dates
(a) Active Date is the beginning date that your article will appear active on your team/league page. Note: you may also select a future date for the article.
(b) Expiry Date (expiration date) is the date that the article will stop displaying on your team/league page.
6. Photos
(a) Main Photo is your thumbnail, and main homepage, image.
(b) Photo 2 and Photo 3 are additional photos that may be added to your news article. If you choose multiple photos for a news article, those photos will rotate, in assigned order, when viewing the full article.
Note: for each Photo, you can add a caption (up to 100 characters each).
7. When all information has been entered, hit Save.
